I don't care how many World Series titles Saint Louis wins, Cardinals are one of the lamest mascots ever.  You may as well be the Fuzzy Bunnies.  You're basically a pretty little bird.  That ought to strike fear in the hearts of opponents everywhere.

Stanford, on the other hand, is "the Cardinal."  It's not even a mascot.  It's a color.  It's awesome.  Michigan, whom I hate, are "the blue and gold," but are officially "the Wolverines."  The Cardinal doesn't need a mascot.  I'm looking at you, USC.
